Are you sector 1? Do you accept the Carte Vitale?
+
Sector 1 dental practice accepting the Carte Vitale
Yes. Cabinet 158 Croix Nivert is sector 1: fees for routine care (consultations, cavities, scaling) follow the rates set by the French national health insurance. We accept the Carte Vitale and offer third-party payment for the national health insurance share (you do not pay that portion upfront). Third-party payment with private health insurers is possible upon prior approval from your insurer.

+
Payment methods and instalment options at the practice
We accept credit cards, cheques and cash. For more significant treatments — orthodontics, dental implants, prosthetics, veneers — interest-free instalment plans may be offered after reviewing the estimate. A written, detailed estimate is always provided before any treatment that is not fully reimbursed.

What should I do in a dental emergency?
+
Dental emergency in Paris 15: what to do?
In case of emergency — severe toothache, abscess, broken tooth, trauma after a fall, lost crown — call the practice at +33 1 83 64 11 12: emergency slots are reserved every day for our patients. Outside opening hours, on weekends or public holidays, dial 15 (SAMU) which will refer you to the on-call dentist in Paris.
↑ Back to topWhat do I do if I break a tooth or lose a crown?
+
Broken tooth or lost crown: the right reflexes
Call the practice quickly at +33 1 83 64 11 12. If a tooth fragment or a whole tooth is knocked out after an impact, keep it in milk, saline solution or saliva (never dry) and come for consultation within the hour if possible: reimplantation is sometimes feasible. For a loosened crown, keep it but do not try to glue it back yourself with store-bought glue: we will clean it and re-seal it properly during the consultation.

How often should I see a dentist?
+
Recommended frequency of dental check-ups
An annual check-up is recommended for adults with good oral health, and every 6 months for children, teenagers, pregnant women and at-risk patients (diabetes, smoking, periodontitis). Regular scaling combined with a clinical examination helps prevent cavities and periodontal disease and detect any suspicious lesion early.
↑ Back to topChildren
At what age should I bring my child to the dentist?
+
Child's first dental consultation: at what age?
The first visit is recommended as soon as the first baby teeth appear, around age 1, then once a year. The French national health insurance fully covers the M'T dents check-ups at ages 3, 6, 9, 12, 15, 18, 21 and 24. These visits help children get used to the practice, provide tailored hygiene advice and detect cavities, misalignments or growth abnormalities early.
↑ Back to topOrthodontics
Do you offer invisible orthodontics for adults?
+
Invisible orthodontics for adults: clear aligners
Yes, we offer removable clear aligners for adults wishing a discreet orthodontic treatment to correct crowding, overlapping teeth, a diastema or a mild-to-moderate malocclusion. An initial consultation with a 3D scan allows us to assess feasibility, simulate the final result and estimate the treatment duration (generally 6 to 18 months).
↑ Back to topImplantology
How much does a dental implant cost? Is it reimbursed?
+
Price and reimbursement of a dental implant
The cost of a dental implant varies depending on the clinical case: whether a prior bone graft is needed, the type of crown (ceramic, zirconia) and the number of implants. A written, detailed estimate is always provided before any treatment. The implant itself is not reimbursed by the French national health insurance, but the crown placed on the implant is partially reimbursed. Many private health insurers cover all or part of the remaining cost: we help you put together your coverage request.

Is dental whitening safe?
+
In-practice dental whitening: is it risk-free?
Performed by a dental surgeon, dental whitening is safe and effective. We first carry out a complete examination (condition of teeth and gums, prior scaling), then use peroxide-based products dosed according to European regulations. Temporary tooth sensitivity may occur during or just after treatment but is transient. Over-the-counter products or whitening in unregulated salons present a real risk for the enamel and gums.
