Patient information pursuant to the French order (arrêté) of 30 May 2018 on information for recipients of prevention, diagnostic and/or care services
Your dental surgeons are under agreement (conventionnés) with the French Health Insurance (Assurance Maladie) and follow the rules of the national agreement.
Regulated-fee acts (tarif opposable): fees match Social Security tariffs and may not be exceeded, except for an exceptional request on your part (time or place). They are reimbursed by the Health Insurance at 60 % of the agreed tariff; the remainder is covered by your top-up insurance (mutuelle) if your contract is a “responsible contract”.
100 % Santé acts: covered by the Health Insurance and your top-up insurance, with no out-of-pocket cost if your contract is responsible.
Capped-fee acts (honoraire limite de facturation): fees respect the ceilings set by the national agreement; they may not be fully reimbursed.
Free-fee acts (honoraire libre): fees are set freely, with tact and moderation, and may exceed agreed tariffs; reimbursement depends on your top-up insurance. No fee overrun may be charged to beneficiaries of the supplementary solidarity health insurance (C2S).
Only costs corresponding to a care service actually provided may be billed to you.
Health Insurance reimbursement tariffs: ameli.fr: agreed tariffs (tarifs conventionnels).
Access to care for everyone
In accordance with the law, no patient may be refused care because of their situation, in particular because they benefit from the solidarity complementary health insurance (C2S) or State medical aid (AME).
